The last few weeks have been crazy busy and going by so fast. Over the weeks I have definitely come accustom to the culture here. I have been to a few events and also have gone to several different islands.

The work load was stressful for a little while as one of our deadlines was pushed up by almost a month. There are still a few things to do but it is definitely slowing down as it gets closer to leaving.

The past 3 weeks I have been working in a place called Orangehill. At first I was very tentative about working here as it is an hour away. This means I have to take a bus there all by myself. Which at first was very nerve racking. I think this is because I wasn’t so familiar with my surroundings. But now I have gotten over it and it’s really not that bad. I have working with many kind people that have taken me under their wing. They have thought me how to make a medium that the plant will grow in for six to seven weeks before the planting stage. I have also learned how to cut down and multiply the plants.

The next few weeks will be focused on putting together my final presentation and putting an event together for the wine that the students made. This is the wrapping up of our internship. I am excited to go home but at the same I have made friends and I am really going to miss not only the lifestyle but the people here.
